Cold light source characteristics and efficient curing
UV LED is a cold light source with the characteristics of no heat radiation, ensuring low temperature rise on the surface of the illuminated object, which is very suitable for occasions with strict temperature rise requirements such as LCD edge sealing and film printing. Its high-purity single-band ultraviolet light output is almost infrared-free and belongs to the category of cold light source, thus avoiding deformation of the processed parts due to heat. The efficient curing effect is comparable to that of traditional high-pressure mercury lamp UV light source, and the curing time is significantly shortened. Compared with traditional mercury lamp UV light, it has high brightness but low heat, avoiding damage to the operator's eyes and thermal deformation of the processed workpiece.
Ultra-long life and fast response
The service life of UV LED lamp is more than 10 times that of traditional mercury lamp, and it is not affected by the number of switching. It can be turned on and off instantly, can reach the maximum power UV output without preheating, and can restart quickly after shutting down.
Energy output and flexible customization
The UV LED light source has stable energy output and uniform irradiation effect, which further improves production efficiency. The length of the effective irradiation area can be freely adjusted from 20mm to 1000mm, providing flexible customization capabilities.
Environmentally friendly, safe, energy-saving and efficient
UV LED light sources do not contain mercury and do not produce ozone, making them an ideal alternative to traditional light sources. Their energy consumption is only 10% of that of traditional mercury lamp curing machines, saving 90% of electricity, and have significant environmental and economic benefits.
Low maintenance cost and compact design
The use of UV LED curing equipment can save at least 10,000 yuan per unit of consumables each year. The ultraviolet irradiation device and related supporting devices are very compact, saving a lot of mechanical installation space and pipeline construction, and the setup is simple and quick. The LED-UV curing system further enhances the environmental compatibility of the traditional UV curing system.
Technology dependence and curing depth limitation
As a new technology, the core technology of UV LED light source is monopolized by foreign countries, resulting in relatively high prices of domestic LED UV lamps. In addition, the penetration of ultraviolet light is weak and its curing depth is limited, which to a certain extent limits the geometric shape of curable products. Especially for opaque parts and dead corners where ultraviolet light cannot reach, the curing effect is often not ideal.
Environmental requirements and investment costs
Ozone is generated during UV curing, so an efficient exhaust system is required to ensure the safety of the operating environment. At the same time, the investment in electronic curing equipment is relatively large, and the price of UV curing coatings is significantly higher than that of conventional coatings, which increases the investment cost in coatings.
