Q1. Can UV LED completely replace a mercury or gallium UV lamp?
It can replace conventional lamps in suitable applications, but compatibility must be evaluated based on the lacquer formulation, photoinitiator, wavelength, coating thickness and required UV dose.
Q2. Which wavelength is best for UV lacquer?
There is no universal wavelength. 365nm, 385nm, 395nm and 405nm can be selected according to the photoinitiator and lacquer formulation.
Q3. Can the system cure UV wood lacquer?
Yes. UV LED curing is suitable for many LED-compatible UV wood lacquers, furniture coatings and UV varnishes.
Q4. Does UV LED generate heat?
The LED module generates heat and therefore requires thermal management. However, compared with conventional UV arc lamps, UV LED systems can significantly reduce unwanted infrared radiation reaching the substrate.
Q5. Can I use my existing production line?
Yes. The UV LED curing head can be customized for retrofit integration into existing coating or printing equipment.
Q6. Can the UV intensity be adjusted?
Yes. The system supports 0–100% intensity adjustment, depending on the selected control configuration.

Yes. For critical retrofit projects, customers can provide the UV lacquer specification and application parameters. Sample testing can be arranged to evaluate wavelength, irradiance and curing performance.
