This UV pen light is a compact 365nm longwave LED UV flashlight built for precision UV adhesive curing. A single 5W Epistar chip behind a quartz lens delivers high-intensity longwave UV at a 15-20mm working distance, so a small drop of UV glue, resin or coating reaches full cure in seconds. The pen-style aluminium body with pocket clip keeps the torch in a technician's shirt pocket, and the instant on/off driver removes the warm-up wait of mercury lamps completely.

Q1: What is the difference between the 365nm and 395nm version?
365nm is the longwave band UV adhesives are formulated for and is the preferred choice for bonding and resin curing. 385nm, 395nm and 405nm are available for printing inks and coatings.

Epistar chips, mounted on an aluminium heat sink with air cooling.

Q3: What are the lamp body and lens made of?
Aluminium body with a quartz lens, which passes longwave UV with very low loss.

Q4: Can the UV intensity be adjusted?
The standard model is not dimmable. Cure energy is controlled by exposure time and working distance, with 15-20mm being the recommended emitting distance.
