Q1: What materials can 3728 bond to?
3728 offers excellent adhesion to solder joints, PCB laminates, copper, tin, gold, glass, ceramics and most engineering plastics used in electronic assemblies.
Q2: What light source and curing dose are required?
3728 cures with standard UV or LED UV lamps (365-405 nm). A cure dose of 1200 mJ/cm² is recommended, giving a cure time of only a few seconds depending on lamp power and distance.
Q3: Is the cured adhesive flexible despite the 60 Shore D hardness?
Yes. The 60 Shore D hardness balances rigidity with high flexibility, allowing the cured film to absorb thermal cycling and vibration stress without cracking, protecting solder joints over the long term.
Q4: Is 3728 easy to apply?
Yes. Its viscosity of 13000 ± 1500 mPa.s at 25°C provides clean, controllable dispensing with good sag resistance, suitable for both manual application and automated dispensing lines.
Q5: What are the storage conditions and shelf life?
Store in the original sealed container at 8-28°C, away from light and heat. Shelf life is 6 months from the date of manufacture.
Q6: What packaging options and samples are available?
3728 is available in 50g and 300g syringes, with OEM packaging supported. Free samples are provided for trial and validation before bulk orders.
