Q1: What substrates can 3729 bond to?
3729 provides high adhesion to FPC, PI film, nickel sheets, copper, aluminum, stainless steel and most engineering plastics used in electronic assemblies.
Q2: What light source and curing dose are required?
3729 cures with standard UV or LED UV lamps (365-405 nm). A cure dose of 1200 mJ/cm² is recommended, with cure time of only a few seconds depending on lamp power and distance.
Q3: Why is the low hardness important for nickel sheet sealing?
The low 60 Shore A hardness keeps the cured adhesive soft and flexible, absorbing mechanical and thermal stress so that nickel sheets and surrounding solder joints are protected from cracking or detachment.
Q4: Is 3729 suitable for automated dispensing?
Yes. Its viscosity of 32000 ± 3000 mPa.s at 25°C offers good sag resistance and precise, clean dispensing, ideal for manual and automated production lines.
Q5: What are the storage conditions and shelf life?
Store in the original sealed container at 8-28°C, away from light and heat sources. Shelf life is 6 months from the date of manufacture.
Q6: What packaging options and samples are available?
3729 is available in 50g and 300g syringes, with OEM packaging supported. Free samples can be provided for trial and validation before bulk orders.
